More progress...

Not too bad. Project X is still flowing, even though not to the 20,000 words I'd targeted. By the end of the night, it looks like I'll finish at around 17,500 words. Not bad.

Tomorrow, I'll contact Book-A-Million about a promotion I'm proposing for Friends With Benefits. If my proposal is accepted, then I will not only be able to promote my book, but also raise money for a very worthy cause. More later...

Hey, I was just wondering what some of your favorites books are, older and contemporary. I think it would be cool to read about that in a post, whenever you get a chance.

Right off the top of my head, I'd have to say almost any non-fiction history or bio. King Leopold's Ghost, The Big Sea by Langston Hughes, Friday Night Lights, Michael Datcher's Raising Fences are some of my favorites. But I also like some VERY light books such as the Broke Diaries, which I read when sequestered for a weekend in Oakland, while editing my second book. I laughed so hard I got a complaint. But there are many more.
