Whatever Happened To...

...Rick Famuyiwa? He wrote "The Wood" and "Brown Sugar" which were nice little films about black life that I recognize. According to IMDB, Brown Sugar was the last thing he'd done.

I'd like to know the answer to this question too! I also ask the same thing of Theodore Witcher who did Love Jones and Kasi Lemmons/Eve's Bayou, which is one of my very favorite movies.

He's going to direct the film
adaptation of Tanarive Due's novel,
"My Soul To Keep". It's supposed to go into production this fall.

And Theodore Witcher, where is he? I'd liek the answer to that question. Love Jones is my fave movie of all time. I bought teh DVD recently and of course have the soundtrack. I try to own as many African-American and Afri_Brit and other African movies as I can. It's important to those who bring our stories to teh big screen.
