Hey all,
I'm thinking about shutting the blog down. One, I'm not sure how many people are actually reading the blog, and second, I'm not sure how interesting my life is to everyone out there. So do me a favor and let me know how often you read the blog. Do you find it interesting, useful, or just something to do? What do you like best and what do you like least? Depending on how many people answer and the answers themselves, I'll make a final decision later this month.

I read it every time it's updated. I don't think you should shut down. You have a very unique perspective that’s not offered many other places. Being Black, there are not a lot of blogs (that I know of anyway) that offer the view point you do and I think it’s important especially for someone like me who’s a minority in a minority. Also, your life is what makes the blog interesting. I’m always amazed at the amount of work you get done. It’s also a nice way to get exposure for your books, one of which I bought because of this very blog. I’m sure I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know. So, please don’t shut the blog down. Plus I like your t-shirts!
Write more about your artistic experiences and how they affect your life. What you're thinking. What I'm not interested in is how many shits you take a day and that you watch football!:-)
I read whenever you post also. I subscribe to google reader so whenever you publish a post I see it there first. Sometimes I click through to make a comment and other times I just read.
I like that you chronicle your writing process here. It is like I have a bird's eye view on the life of a (mostly) full-time writer and how they go about accomplishing what they do.
Before you took the position with that company that starts with an "I" was really intrigued by your postings on the book about the p0rn industry. Personally, I'm looking forward to reading that book whenever it is published. It sounds fascinating.

Yo Lawrence, sorry for not reaching out to you previously but I read your blog on a regular occasion. My name is Mark Skillz I first came across you when I heard about your book 'Money Shot'. I was like 'Damn, who's this dude?'
A couple of years back I had an idea for a book called 'Sex Machines, Super Freaks and Video Ho's: True Stories from the World of Black Porn" - as soon as I heard about your book that idea went into the trash can. I am looking forward to reading your book! I know it's good. I lived in Oakland for twenty years: the land of pimps and ho's!
