Hey everyone, my name is Lawrence Ross and I'm what they call a pro-fess-ion-al writer. That means I get paid to write and hopefully enough folks buy my stuff. It's what I've always wanted to do, and I'm lucky enough to do it. Follow me on my journey.

The nice thing about a writer's schedule is any day can be Sunday. The dangerous thing is that every day can be Sunday.
Yep. But I have that internal "itchiness" that gets me back on the computer. It's a slight panic attack that tells me I'm TREMENDOUSLY blessed to write, and if I don't get off my ass, someone else is going to get my slot. Helps me to get motivated like hell. So that keeps my Sunday's at bay. lol
i enjoy writing when i am in the countryside of the south of france, when i feel like there is too much noise at home espeically with my when my Parisian relatives are around. i can still go the library and spend the day there. i like the fact that i am in the middle of nowhere. i don't know if you often travel abroad but saint tropez in winter is a sort of a dead city in winter. you can count the minutes and even hear you heart beat, i tell you will keep on writing.
I only visited Paris for a few hours, so I need to return. But there are two places where I love to write. I love London, because I love the dreary weather. It relaxes me and clears my brain. And on the opposite end, I love Brazil, particularly if I have a hotel room that overlooks Ipamena. I might have to travel there soon.lol
i knew you would mention london, i know londoners are familiar to you because they speak english, this where i am at the moment, i use this opportunity to learn english the proper way, well in london it rains every 2 hours , 20 mn, it took me a few months to get use to it. london's cool but too busy and it is quite tricky to ride a bike over here. english ppl love their wheather so much that when they travel to france they only visit normandie or brest because they don't want to miss it.
i choosed londoner life ( for 2 years ) because i know if i miss france i can catch the next eurostar. i did so last month-)).
When I was in London, I stayed in Notting Hill. So it was pretty busy. But I found a really nice hotel, more of a bed and breakfast, and it provided an escape from the city. I could see a person being depressed by the weather, although when I was there (this was in May), the weather was quite good. Sort of the east coast of the US type of weather.
i actually live in notting hill, i wrote the last post from the little library next to the square.you must have seen me at least once. notting hill is quite expensive i might me moving to another area in the next 6 months i did not know england at all when i moved to london.( a part from 2 mini school trips as a kid )
i know you have a quite hectic schedule, but whenener you stop by i'll be glad to show you these few afrobookshops we have over here.
