News!!

I just got an email from UCLA. I've been accepted into the UCLA M.F.A program for screenwriting! I'm absolutely over the moon and can't actually believe it. Okay, I've got to go and calm down.

Congratulations! They would have been fools not to accept you, of course.

So they send acceptances via email now? When I got in, I received a single-page letter in a window envelope. In fact, it looked so generic I was certain I had been rejected.

It was funny. I NEVER expected to receive an email confirmation of acceptance. I kept going back and forth to the mailbox, hoping to get that letter. In today's email, the Grad Counselor said I'd receive the official letter in a week, but they wanted to know if I wanted to accept. I think that's because UCLA makes their decision later than other schools. They could have sent it via carrier pigeon for all I cared! lol
